Children often learn uppercase letters first, then meet lowercase letters in books. Matching big and small letters helps them see that A and a are the same letter. These free uppercase and lowercase letter matching worksheets cover 18 letters on three pages.
What your child practices
- Connecting uppercase and lowercase forms of each letter.
- Telling look-alikes apart, like b and d, p and q, n and m.
- Drawing lines from dot to dot, good pencil control practice.
The three free pages
- Match A to F.
- Match G to L.
- Match M to T (M, N, P, Q, R and T).
On each page the small letters are mixed up, so no letter sits next to its partner.
